Non-Surgical VelaShape Treatment Makes Body

Tritt Aesthetic & Wellness Center, an Atlanta area medical practice and body aesthetic center, now offers to its patients spot fat reduction and body reshaping using the VelaShape Laser. The VelaShape is the only FDA approved laser for targeted fat reduction and cellulite elimination.

The VelaShape device is manufactured by Syneron, and is the second generation of its spot fat reduction technology.  VelaShape combines Bi-Polar radiofrequency(RF), Infrared Light Energy, plus Vacuum and Mechanical Massage.  The combination of these energies increases the metabolism of stored energy, increases lymphatic drainage and reduces the size of the actual fat cells and fat pockets known as cellulite.  The net result leads to a reduction in the size of the treated area, along with a reshaping of the treated area.  The mechanical massage results in  smoother skin and a decrease in the appearance of bumpy and unsightly fat.

In obtaining FDA approval for the VelaShape device, the manufacturer conducted a multi-location trial and reported that among patients, 85 percent of the treated areas showed circumferential reduction of thighs of at least 1 cm, ranging up to 7.2cm in reduction.
