What Parts of My Body are Most Appropriate for Botox?

Botox works by blocking the release of a chemical in nerve cells called acetylcholine that triggers muscle contraction.  When muscle contraction is blocked, wrinkles and furrows in the skin cannot form, thereby leaving the skin smooth and wrinkle free.  The FDA has approved Botox for use around the eyes to treat "crow's feet," around the mouth to eliminate "frown lines," and on the forehead to treat furrowed brows.  Botox is also used to treat more serious medical problems like crossed eyes, severe neck pain, uncontrolled muscle twitching, migraine headaches, and excessive sweating.

Patients of the Tritt Aesthetic & Plastic Center are generally seeking cosmetic enhancement and wrinkle control.  Both men and women can benefit from Botox treatment - and the most requested treatment areas are around the eyes and around the mouth.  Our primary concern is for the safety and comfort of our patients - all Botox treatments are administered in a clean, comfortable outpatient facility using fresh Botox supplies purchased from Allergan, the manufacturer.

The Tritt Aesthetic and Wellness Center employs an experienced Aesthetic and Wellness Counselor who is charged with the responsibility of educating our patients about all of the appearance enhancement services available from our trained staff of physicians and anesthetists.  In addition to Botox, we offer non-surgical skin rejuvination and skin tightening.  We also offer a full range of wellness services including body composition analysis, nutritional counseling and exercise training.

You can reach an Aesthetic and Wellness Counselor by phone at 404-256-7520.  We offer free telephone consultations as well as free in-office evaluations.  Call us to day to get started.
